The final phase of the ASHP Residency Match Process was held recently, and the Pharm.D. Class of 2021 exceeded the national percentage. The current class had the highest match rate as compared to the last three graduating classes, at a rate of 80% of all who applied for a residency match.

After this final round of matches, the UGA College of Pharmacy currently has the highest PGY-1 match rate in the State of Georgia, and exceeds the national match rate of approximately 65%. In total, the UGA College of Pharmacy had 54 PGY-1 matches and 24 PGY-2 matches as of Phase II.
